Read more about the life in PayU here About the role - As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for leading software development projects, designing, developing, testing, and debugging code. You will mentor junior developers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products. What you will do - Develop high-quality software design and architecture. - Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks in the software development life cycle. - Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code. - Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting. - Perform validation and verification testing. - Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products. - Document development phases and monitor systems. - Ensure software is up to date with the latest technologies. What you need to succeed - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. - At least 5 years of software development experience, with prior experience as a Senior Software Engineer. - Proficiency in Java and/or Node.js. - Strong skills in integrating software systems and ensuring interoperability in complex environments. - Solid understanding of software design patterns. - Experience with system monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic) and automated testing frameworks. - Ability to create comprehensive technical documentation for specialized software solutions. - Experience working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB). - Basic knowledge of AWS. - Familiarity with Linux, macOS, and Windows. - Experience in software development, scripting, and project management. #J-18808-Ljbffr IT
